Sleepy Time

Then Mother and I got busy making baby-sized quilts to donate to the church for Redwood High School, the continuation high school in the Sequoia District. The church was planning a baby shower for the young mothers at the school; some 45 mothers either bring their babies to the child care at the school or have other arrangements for child care. In any case it's a lot of babies. The church got a tremendous response so some of the blankets contributed were saved for other charities or to use later. Here are a couple pictures of the quilts at church being blessed before the baby shower. You can see a few of the quilts we made in the pictures.
