This quilt was designed by Leslie. She selected the fabric and planned the layout. Surprising to me, the quilt has borders on 3, not 4, sides. One of the long sides has no border. At first I thought she designed the quilt for a day bed, but Aunt Linda said “no”. I guess Leslie likes asymmetrical designs. So do I.
- 63” x 77" Single bed sized
- Quilted in vertical waves alternating with loop-de-loop lines. Used tan brown thread “Sandstone” Omni brand 100% polyester from Superior Threads. Free form quilting. 6 bobbins. Quilting by Patty.
- Backing: A beautiful pink flower print, supplied by Aunt Linda.
- Batting: 80% cotton/20% polyester “Comfort Blend” by Winline.
