This is the first top I pieced this year. For some reason it was moved back in the longarming queue.
- 73" x 85" Single-bed size
- Quilting: Quilted in straight horizontal lines. Used light blue-gray 100% polyester thread (Omni from Superior Threads-named "Harbor Sky"). 7 bobbins. Quilting by Patty.
- Backing: Wild blue, white, and gray circle print from a Connecting Threads wide backing sale
- Batting: 80% cotton/20% polyester bleached, Comfort Blend by Winline.
- Binding: Light blue grunge print from Patty’s stash. The same fabric was used for the blocks to make the stairs.
- Pattern: “Scrappy Steps” pattern from Quick and Easy Quilts Dec 2021/Jan 2022. Pattern by Ramona Sorensen
- Piecing by Patty. Used fat quarters from my stash, most are Kaffe Fassett prints
- Pinned into frame June 30, 2022. Quilting on long arm quilter July 1, 2022. (Patty).
