For Joey’s red egg and ginger party, I made him a neonatal quilt using Thomas the Tank Engine fabric. Joey’s grandmother is our friend Landy and his mother is her daughter Erica.
- 36” x 45” Neonatal size
- Quilting: Quilted stitch in a ditch on the Viking Machine Used light blue 100% cotton thread (Aurifil). Quilting by Patty.
- Backing: Blue swirl printed flannel my stash. It was a piece left from Aunt Joyce’s Racing Cars Quilt.
- Batting: 80% Cotton/20% Polyester Comfort Blend from WinLine
- Binding: Medium blue plain fabric from Patty’s inventory.
- Pattern: 5” squares sewn together
