Cousin Jeanine sent a queen bed sized quilt top that she pieced from scrap fabric.
The back is a tan flannel print from my inventory. It is a wide piece of fabric made for quilt backs.
- 74 1/2” x 95 1/2" Queen bed sized
- Quilted in wavy lines, loop-de-loops, and spirals. The hope was that the quilting would help the strips hang together. Used medium brown thread “Canyon” Omni brand 100% polyester from Superior Threads. Free form quilting. 6 bobbins. Quilting by Patty.
- Backing: A wide, flannel print back from my inventory
- Batting: 80% cotton/20% polyester. “Comfort Blend” from WinLine.
- Binding: Navy blue tonal print sent by Jeanine
- Pattern: Wide, vertical strips of fabric
