This is my last attempt at flange binding. I am going back to regular binding after this, even if I have to spend time basting it!
The internet says Diwali colors are red, yellow, blue, and magenta. I put the squares in a box, mixed them up, and pulled at random to make the rows. Surprise! The random draw worked out!
- 16 1/2“ x 60 1/2”
- Quilting: Quilted stitch in the ditch. Used goldenrod 100% cotton thread (Aurifil). Quilting by Patty.
- Backing: Dark blue and aqua geometric (circles) print from Patty’s inventory.
- Batting: 100% cotton. Quilter’s Dream Cotton Request, thinnest loft.
- Binding: Goldenrod and blue solids from Patty’s inventory.
- Pattern: Rectangles cut from a fabrics in Patty’s stash.
- Sewing by Patty.
