By using a border fabric, Aunt Joyce was able to make 2 quilts out of her blue and white blocks. I’ve dubbed them “A” and “B”. These quilts are for a couple of her grandchildren and she’d like to gift them at Thanksgiving.
- 89” x 94" Queen-sized
- Quilted loosely in spirals, waves, loops, and loop-de-loops. Used white thread “Bright White” Omni brand 100% polyester from Superior Threads. Free form quilting. 8 bobbins. Quilting by Patty.
- Backing: A wide white on white print from Keepsake Quilting, supplied by Aunt Joyce.
- Batting: 100% polyester “Poly-fil, Low Loft” by Fairfield from JoAnn’s.
- Binding: A plain medium blue from my stash
- Pattern: A pattern Aunt Joyce saw in a magazine.
