Jennifer Sampou presented at our quilt guild. She designs fabric, most notably the “Chalk and Charcoal” and “SKY Ombres” collections. I bought a table runner kit after her presentation. The kit uses “SKY Ombres”. She designed the table runner to be reversible with different colors of fabric on each side. I decided to make 2 table runners out of my kit. This is the first one. I gave it to my yoga teacher for her 65th birthday party.

- Quilting: Quilted in close horizontal, parallel lines using the edge of the walking foot as a distance measure . Used 100% cotton thread (from Aurifil) and the walking foot. Quilting by Patty.
- Backing: Yellow brown batik print from Patty’s inventory
- Batting: 80% cotton/20% polyester. “Comfort Blend” from WinLine.
- Binding: Dark brown batik print from Patty’s inventory.
