Blue and White Striped Baby Quilt

This is another of the cotton double knit fabric whole cloth quilts. This one used a blue and white striped knit. The back is a plain blue flannel. All of the same issues applied to quilting this one as I described for the first. The binding is the blue flannel back brought around to the front.
We sent this quilt along with Green Cats, Red and Blue Plaid Comfort, Topsy, and Black and White and Red All Over, to the Oklahoma Tornado Victims.
Size: 35" x 62" Baby size
Quilting: Meandering design with rows of rabbits, cats and dogs using light blue 100% polyester thread ('Light Turquoise' Omni from Superior Threads). 4 bobbins.
Backing: Blue flannel.
Batting: 100% Polyester
Binding: Blue Flannel
Pattern: Whole cloth.

Green Cats

This is another of the cotton double knit fabric whole cloth quilts. This one used a green cat knit with a plain dark green knit border. The back is a green striped cotton print. All of the same issues applied to quilting this one as I described for the first. The binding is a plain dark green cotton that came from Mother's stash. Mother made a very wide binding to make the quilt slightly bigger.
Sent to the Oklahoma Tornado Victims.
Size: 38" x 51" Lap blanket size
Quilting: Meandering design in the center and loopy design in the border using dark green thread ('Palm Tree' Omni from Superior Threads). 2 bobbins.
Backing: Green striped print cotton from Mother's stash.
Batting: 100% Polyester
Binding: Dark green cotton
Pattern: Whole cloth.

All of the same issues applied to quilting this one as I described for the first. The binding is a plain dark green cotton that came from Mother's stash.
We gave this one to Cynthia, the dog walker, when she broke her ankle and leg.
Size: 52" x 61" Single-bed size
Quilting: Meandering loopy design using aqua thread (Omni from Superior Threads). 4 bobbins.
Backing: Aqua flannel
Batting: 100% Polyester
Binding: Dark green cotton
Pattern: Whole cloth.
