Spinning Rails for Sally-Spinning Memories

Began quilting the Spinning Rails Quilt for Sally Jan. 4, 2012. Completed Jan. 11, 2012.
I think of it as Spinning Memories. The blocks contain fabric from clothes that Mother made for Tata, Auntie Bernice, Sally, me, herself and friends. It also had scraps from neck scarves that Dusty wore on his way home from the groomer and scraps from our friend Penny. As I quilted memories of all these people and Dusty arose from the quilt top and kept me company as I worked.

Close Up of Quilt (the dark red print, surrounded by the red background with big brown and beige dots fabric, was my convertible collar blouse, one of my first 4-H projects)
